Scotch Brand and Tastemade have partnered with Pinterest to deliver content inspiring Pinners to get excited about wrapping their presents.
According to Pinterest’s internal data, searches for “gift wrapping techniques” have increased 2.4x this year, and searches for “Christmas crafts DIY” have surged 7x on its platform. In addition, 89% of weekly Pinners use Pinterest for inspiration in their path to purchase, and 83% of Pinners have made a purchase based on the content they saw from a brand on Pinterest.
Furthermore, 3 in 4 Pinners are likely to consider a product recommended by Tastemade, a brand with more than 10 million viewers per month on Pinterest. Pinners are also coming to Pinterest to plan early for the holidays, with 83% of Pinners agreeing Pinterest helps with “Everything Holiday.”

With these insights in mind, Scotch Brand and modern media company Tastemade are activating a Pinterest-first campaign that inspires Pinners to craft memorable and meaningful moments through holiday gift wrapping Idea Pins.
As part of the campaign, Scotch Brand presents fun ideas and clever hacks to inspire creativity while keeping the suggested ideas easy and accessible to anyone.
As video content consumption continues to grow on Pinterest, Scotch Brand is collaborating with premium programmers at Tastemade to deliver engaging, quality content experiences for Pinners.

They will present four custom Holiday Hack videos combining Idea Pins and videos featuring Scotch’s products used to wrap sustainable content, like fast, fun, and original gift wrapping hacks, wrapping oddly shaped gifts, and creating recycled bows.
